About the event
Christine began her performing career playing folk masses in 7th grade and singing in clubs around Hartford, CT. By age 16, she had joined her older brother's folk rock acoustic band; by 18, she was playing solo coffeehouse gigs. Soon the music business became a day job (Marketing & Sales - The Music People, Sennheiser). Eventually, Christine found herself in Florida getting a specialized associates degree in Audio Engineering. While in Florida, she was nominated for a "Jammie Award" for best solo performer. Christine also fronted the Florida 9-piece Rythm and Swing Band "The Mystic Horns" for roughly 15 years (see: My Old Man - Christine Cooney Sings). For this Nightingale's gig, Christine returns to her coffeehouse roots as a solo guitarist/vocalist.
$15/pp. Free parking is readily available along adjacent Lyme Street. Refreshments will be available. Seating is limited; advance ticket purchase recommended.
