Hazel Mae Quartet

The Hazel Mae Quartet is a dynamic jazz act led by the rapidly emerging vocalist Hazel Mae Allik. With fresh original music, With their transformative arrangements of jazz standards, and a passion for innovative improvisation, the group is a must-see new act.

Hazel's powerful. unforgettable vocals are met with the momentous soul of tenor saxophonist Noah Lafond. The pair is accompanied by a virtuosic rhythm section, the expressive guitarist Colin Quigly and acclaimed string bassist Andy Cecarelli.

All members are students or recent graduates of the UCONN jazz program, and have thrilled every audience they've performed for. Their last appearance at Nightingale's Acoustic Cafe sold out.
